Project Description

The Challenge: There is an important question at the back of every Austinite's head. What restaurant makes the best taco in Austin? We may all have our own biased opinion, based on our limited experience of the restaurants we already visited.
The Solution: Taco Quest is a mobile web app that democratizes the process of finding the best taco in Austin. The app randomly generates 2 taco eateries. The player would then visit each restaurant and rate their tacos. In response, the restaurants would move up or down based on the results.
The Bonus: Taco Quest was built over the course of 2 days during Women Who Code's Diversity Hackathon. The goal of the Diversity Hackathon is to introduce Women and Minorities in Tech to learn new skills. During the course of the project, I learned to code in ReactJS, API integration, as well as a new method of paper prototyping.
